City – Notice of Seasonal Sales Tax Rate Change
Public Notice Reminder:
The City of Seldovia Seasonal Sales Tax Rate is in effect April 1 to September 30 of every year.
As of April 1, 2025 the seasonal sales tax rate for the City of Seldovia has changed from 2% to 6.5%. The Kenai Peninsula Borough tax rate remains the same at 3% year round.
Seldovia Summer Tax Rate:
City of Seldovia 6.5%
Borough 3%
Total: 9.5% (April 1- September 30)
