Pool Table Raffle Extended – Buy Your Ticket Now!

Due to the recent poor weather, the drawing for the pool table raffle has been extended to January 18th to insure everyone has a chance to buy their tickets. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, here is your opportunity to win this sweet pool table. HEA Update – Saturday 3:30pm – Power Restored Around 1:00pm

The Seldovia area is back on central station power and is no longer being served by the Gerry Willard Generation Plant.
HEA crews were able to energize the main line in south Kachemak Bay at approximately 3:00 pm on Saturday.
The Seldovia area had been on generation since December 24th when a heavy snowfall created problems with the power line between McKeon Flats and Seldovia.
Crews were able to finalize repair work and patrol the line this afternoon, allowing the system to return to normal operations.
Port Graham and Nanwalek are currently being served by the emergency generator in Port Graham.
The power line between Port Graham and Seldovia needs to be repaired and HEA crews plan to work on that line Sunday.
HEA Update – Saturday 12:11pm – Power Restored on Jakolof

HEA crews have restored power along Jakolof Bay Road and are currently working in Seldovia to put that section back on generation.
The area was being served by Gerry Willard Generation Plant, but at approximately 12:45 am Saturday, a fault on the power line interrupted the operation of the generator.
Port Graham and Nanwalek are currently being served by the emergency generator in Port Graham.

Please remember to always stay away from downed power lines. The lines are extremely dangerous and getting too close to a line can cause serious injury or death.
