Seldovia Bay Ferry Continues Service Into October

The Seldovia Bay Ferry is continuing operations, providing round trips between Seldovia and Homer twice a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
“As long as there are passengers to support it and weather to accommodate the service, the Seldovia Bay Ferry will continue to run,” Seldovia Village Tribe President and CEO Crystal Collier said. “The loss of the Tustumena has had a significant impact on Seldovia. We’re pleased to offer this extended schedule as a service to our community.”
Operating Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Seldovia Bay Ferry’s Kachemak Voyager departs Seldovia for the 45-minute trip at 9:00am and 4:30pm, and departs Homer (Ramp 7) at 11:00am and 6:30pm. Passengers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before departure, more if transporting freight.

As a service to our communities, the 2013 season has been extended until further notice. Thank you to the dozens of people who responded to our survey. The new sailing schedule begins Friday, September 6th. Operating Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the Kachemak Voyager will depart Seldovia for the 45-minute trip at 9:00am and 4:30pm, and depart Homer (Ramp 7) at 11:00am and 6:30pm.
