Let’s Send Love and Support to our Friends
by Jenny Chissus
I received an update that Mary’s daughters are together in Anchorage and that Chuck is recovering in the hospital. He continues to undergo surgeries to address his many broken bones. It will be a long healing process, both physically and emotionally as he recovers from this terrible accident.
If you would like to send a card or thoughts their way, the addresses for Chuck and Mary’s daughters are listed below. Mary was loved by many in Seldovia and will be sorely missed. We will continue to keep Chuck and the rest of the family in our thoughts and prayers.

The Butterfly Circus – an inspiring short movie! During this time of Thanksgiving, the real person, Nick Vujicic is a fabulous testimony to living large, knowing that each of us was created for a purpose, in spite of our shortcomings. To visit Nick’s site, visit here.

A Few Great Seldovia Pictures
These photos taken by Chad Wagner who moved to Alaska in 1966 with his family when he was 12 years old. He enjoys getting out into nature and taking pictures, and fortunately for us, he’s got a great eye for the beauty we see every day. Chad works as a surveyor and has been fortunate to experience many areas of Alaska. He looks forward to moving to Seldovia in the future and living in our community year-round. The Polar bear was a picture of his I couldn’t resist, even though it wasn’t taken in Seldovia, but up in Prudhoe Bay!
