WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM AKST WEDNESDAY ALONG AND NORTH OF THE STERLING HIGHWAY…
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ANCHORAGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM AKST WEDNESDAY.
- LOCATION…ALONG AND NORTH OF THE STERLING HIGHWAY.
- SNOW…1 TO 6 INCHES…HIGHEST AMOUNTS ALONG AND NORTH OF THE STERLING HIGHWAY.
- ICE…UP TO ONE TENTH OF AN INCH
- TIMING…SNOW DEVELOPING DURING THE EVENING…THEN MIXING WITH OR CHANGING TO FREEZING RAIN AFTER MIDNIGHT.
- IMPACTS…TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT.
