Community Emergency Response Team Training

The Community Emergency Response Team training is coming up!  March 26 – March 30 we will be holding the basic training class which teaches people basic skills that will help them, families, neighbors and finally the community in a disaster.  Topics covered include Disaster Preparedness, Fire Suppression, Disaster Medical Operations, Search & Rescue, Organization, and more!

There has been good response from the community, but we need a few more people to meet our minimum number for the class.  To attend, please sign up at the sheet at the Post Office or e-mail your contact information to dnelson@borough.kenai.ak.us by the end of the day Friday March 15.  If you have questions, please contact Dan Nelson at 800-478-4441 ext. 2098.
