Seldovia takes water safety
very seriously.

Life rings are strategically placed
and kids' Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) are free for use while children are on the docks.

"Kids Don't Float" Fireman Bob Painter of Homer founded the program after a number of children drowned in Homer. Has proven a highly successful program and now is adopted statewide.

Swimming lessons are provided by the SVT during the summer and taught in Susan B. English school during
the school year.

Marine fuel is available from the Seldovia Fuel and Lube float at the AMHS dock.
This dock is located outside the main
Seldovia Harbor. Call for open hours.
